Reena Daniel, MD

“I want to be a healthcare advocate for my patients,” says Dr. Daniel. “I feel a great responsibility to communicate to my patients and their families about every aspect of their health – mental, physical and spiritual. I enjoy listening to my patients and answering their questions. My role as a physician is not only to help with the healing process but also help my patients understand how to control their diseases through education and healthy life choices. ”
Dr. Reena Daniel grew up in Dallas, Texas. She completed undergraduate course work at Texas Christian University and received her medical training at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. She worked for seven years at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport, PA, and she currently serves on the Medical Executive Committee for Medical Center of McKinney
Dr. Daniel has special interests in cardiology, hypertension and diabetes.
Dr. Daniel moved back to Texas to be closer to her family. She is married and has three young children. When away from the practice, she enjoys spending time with her family and doing medical mission work.
